Hosts of the Jamega Tour 2020

Course Overview

Tucked away in a small leafy suburb of Leicester, Glen Gorse is a hidden gem; a rich tapestry of established woodlands and long stretches of opens spaces.

A Strategic Course

The course at Glen Gorse is an attractive and mature parkland, offering players the chance to experience its slick greens and wonderful tree-lined vistas.

We take pride in our well established course which is meticulously looked after and nurtured by our team of grounds keepers.

The World Handicap System (WHS) was launched in January 2020 and will provide golfers with a unified and more inclusive handicapping system for the first time.

Using the WHS golfers will be able to transport their Handicap Index globally and compete or play a casual round with players from other regions on a fair basis. Download the Course and Slope Rating Table now.

Jamega Tour 2020

With strategically placed tress on every hole, Glen Gorse is recognised for the fun challenge it provides.

The long approaches and narrow greens require your very best short game, however a premium is placed on accuracy and length. The closing 3 holes are said to be the most challenging in the county.  Due to our perfect playing surfaces we even got to host the Jamega Tour 2020.
