Hole 6

Par 4, Yards 418, Stroke Index 8

"A driver or long iron to the left side of the fairway is needed. This sets up a good angle for the second shot into this undulating green."

Richard Reed, Club Professional

Holes 6 and 7 share large water hazards, which on the 6th hole should not come into play for all but the biggest slicers of the ball. A large tree dominates the centre of the fairway, with a smaller version just beyond, growing slowly but surely, ready to take the place of its larger neighbour in future years. Either side of the large tree will afford a good view of the green which is guarded by a pond and a large bunker to the left and right respectively. A long sloping green always putts towards the water, and a par secured here will feel like a birdie to all but the lowest handicappers.
