Hole 7

Par 4, Yards 345, Stroke Index 18

"A driver or long iron to the left side of the fairway is needed, avoiding the second pond. This sets up a good angle for the second shot into this undulating green on hole 7."

Richard Reed, Club Professional

From the tee at hole 7, a narrow fairway slopes from left to right, with two ponds very much in play on the right of the fairway, and a large hedge and mature trees all along the left side. The percentage shot from the tee is a three-wood or long iron, which will set up a medium to short iron into a heavily contoured green. The danger around the green is a large and deep bunker to the left, and two equally large and deep bunkers to the right. Too long and you will have to pitch several feet up a steep bank to reach the green.
